Help high school students build robots as a part-time job!

We run after-school programs at local schools, giving students the ability to build combat robots and compete at major events. We are hiring new coaches for both existing teams and brand-new teams.

This is a part-time in-person job at one of several high schools. As part of the onboarding process, you will be matched with a school in your area that accommodates your schedule. The pay is $30/hr.

Requirements:

Must have experience building stuff. Experience with a drill press, a band saw, or other machinery is a plus. Experience designing systems with small electric motors (eg. you have heard the terms kV and stall torque) is a plus. Experience using hobby RC radio systems or servos is a plus. Experience building robots is a gigantic plus.

Must be interested in working with high school students. No experience necessary.

Must be in the NYC area.

Must be interested in a part-time job 12 hours per week.

Must be allowed to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
